BanebladeProject Completion Date: 7-23-08“Crimson Force” is assigned to guard the Forge World Arrowhead Prime, under command of the Chaplain Lemartes. Having proven themselves worthy on several occasions, the local Techmarine Master was moved to directly issue them a Baneblade. Lemartes requested that the tank be refitted as a Hellhammer, because, “ his boys like to get close and personal”. The venerable machine is known as the “Bloodfist”. Besides being red, this Baneblade has a few tricks up it sleeve, it is fully magnetized and can be either the Hellhammer, or the Baneblade variant. It also has working headlights, and a spotlight for night fighting. The engine status lights also sequence, the skulls eyes have fiber optics as well as the driver. I once entered a lit model in a competition and the judging was delayed until the next day and I could not be there. I instructed the organizers how to turn it on the next day for judging, but they forgot and the model didn't place well. So I gave this one a beefy power plant so I can leave it on for up to 3 days. The rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries will provide 9360 mAh and the draw is just under 200 mA providing enough power for 68 hours of operation. I didn't realize what I was getting myself into when I started painting the rivets. It was the black undercoat that took the longest, and I was painting rivets for the better part of a week.
